The Massachusetts Section 8 Housing Choice Voucher Centralized Waiting List is a partnership between 102 of the 131 housing authorities in Massachusetts. Applicants submit one application to apply to a centralized waiting list. Selected applicants will be placed on the centralized waiting list, and will be under consideration for every participating housing authority. Waiting list information can be found on our page here.

Subsidized housing means a residence that the government assists in paying for. It can either be all or a portion of the monthly payment, depending on the person’s income.

Rent Capped

All units must meet annual Housing Quality Standard inspection and rent is capped at a fair market published by HUD.   Rent is calculated at 30% of the adjusted income

Parking Permits are required for the following facilities:  Calnan Circle, Harrington Circle and Garafalo Road – please come into the main office to obtain a parking permit, equipped with your license and registration.
